'Kochadaiyaan' centers around a war between three kings from different generations. The three kings are played by Rajnikanth, Jackie Shroff and Nassar. Rajinikanth has a double role in the film. He plays Kochadaiyaan, a loyal commander of the emperor as well as Rana whose Kochadaiyaan's son. Kochadaiyaan is a successful commander and the emperor's good friend. He aims to conquer the world and put it under his King's feet.
